Party time…

On Friday 8th of July it was time to get glamorous and head to a surprise birthday party.

I decided to go quite dramatic with my makeup with a dark smokey eye with a bit of sparkle and shimmer on the main area of the lid. To go with they eyes I went for a browney pink lip, which I achieved by using a brown lip liner all over the lip, and then followed it up by adding a pinkey nude shade lipstick over the top. I would have put some false eye lashes on but I couldn’t find any and did not have enough time to go and get some. (plus I am rubbish at putting those things on)

I paired this dress with a nude clutch bag that had the option of a gold chain to wear it across your body. My shoes were black high heels which had slight platforms, a block heel and cut out details. The shoes are from New Look and cost me around£15. The shoes from New Look are always such great quality and you are guaranteed to bag yourself a bargain if you go to have a look in the sale!

I decided to curl my hair in the end as I thought it would make it more of a party look and like I had made more effort. The jewellery I wore was my rose gold watch from Debenhams, Pandora rings, and my Pandora bracelet. My toe nails were painted a dark red shade, and I had stuck on some fake nails to my fingers as I did not have enough time in which to paint them myself, which were a nude colour.

All in all I really enjoyed myself at the party and was immensely pleased with how well my makeup, hair and outfit came together.
