Natural makeup with winged liner…

Most days I wear none or minimal makeup and therefore thought I would share with you my makeup for those days when I want to look put together but not have to spend too much time on my makeup.

First of all I will wipe away any excess dirt or makeup off my face that I did not manage to get off the night before with a cotton pad and some makeup remover. I will then go in with a moisturiser before applying any makeup to make sure that my skin stays nice and hydrated throughout the day. For my base I apply some green concealer on any red areas to cancel out the redness, before applying a thin layer of foundation with a damp beauty blender. On this day I decided to go for my lasting perfection foundation by collection. In order to slightly contour my face, I then went in with some concealer in upside triangles underneath my eyes, and also went in with a contour stick under my cheekbones and on my forehead before blending in again with a damp beauty blender.

To set the face I used my rimmel stay matte powder and dusted this all over my face to make sure what we had already done did not budge throughout the day. I further warmed up and contoured using a matte bronzer under my cheekbones and on my forehead. I then added a natural pinky/brown to my cheeks for blush and highlighted the tops of my cheekbones, my cupids bow, and the end of my nose.

For the eyes, I used a light brown on my eyes and concentrated this in the crease to create a natural illusion and not make it too over the top. I then lined my waterline and tightline with a coal black liner, before creating a winged liner with the black felt liner from collection. I finished up the eyes by putting on a coat of the 3D Fiber Lash Mascara.

To complete the look I filled in my eyebrows using an eyebrow pencil, before outlining and filling in my lips with a primark lip pencil. You can top up the lips throughout the day easily, as well as put on some lip balm to keep the colour but also hydrate your lips at the same time!

I hope you found this post helpful for those of you who struggle or look for inspiration for more natural makeup looks and there will be another blog post next week.

Lots of love,

your little alien

xoxo
